I also obtained a diploma as a kindergarten teacher and speech therapist at the Faculty of Child Education and Special Education of the University of Debrecen. I took part in a training course specializing in early English language teaching, during which I learned many new things about children's language learning and language acquisition processes, and later my speech therapy studies helped me better understand the children's speech development day by day and thus greatly boosted the course of English lessons.
I first heard about Helen Doron as a first-year student. During volunteering in the summer of 2016, I had the first look at Helen Doron's Early English method, which impressed me even then. The diversity, cheerfulness, self-effacing, playful learning and the short-term, effective development in learning the English language are what caught my attention the most.
In 2017-2018, I participated in the summer camps as a helper, where I was able to build a good relationship with the children easily and quickly. During my training as a kindergarten teacher, during the exercises, I gained a lot of experience about the characteristics of preschool-aged children, the abilities and development opportunities of special children.
I have been a Helen Doron teacher since 2018. I have students from babies a few months old to elementary school students. It is a wonderful thing to see the children's speech development, to accompany, help and support them on this journey, both in Hungarian and in English.
