Hi. I’m Majd.

I’m a second-year master’s student of English literature and culture here at the University of Debrecen. I also did a master’s in English Language Teaching at Damascus University, Syria. English has been a major part of my life and a huge part of who I am today, which is why I want to dedicate myself to showing other people how valuable it is as a tool of communication and self-expression. I saw the Helen Doron school as I walking in the streets of Debrecen when I first arrived here, and I was curious, so I looked it up and was very intrigued about the methodology and ways of teaching. I promptly signed up to volunteer with the school in one of its summer camps, and I knew this was the place for me.
