F.A.Q.
How can he pay attention for 45 minutes when he/she is so small?
Of course, we know that a young child's attention span is very short, meaning that he can only focus on one thing for a few minutes. That's why Helen Doron sessions are tailored to their current abilities and needs. This means that one task takes us about 3-4 minutes - longer for older children, of course - and we move on to the next task, which again takes only a few minutes. We deliberately alternate between sedative (i.e. while-sitting e.g. drawing, puzzles, board games) and kinesthetic (i.e. 'kinesthetic' e.g. singing-dancing, show-and-tell, run-and-get) tasks, which cater for all types of learners and, of course, ensure that your child's attention never wavers.
